This 1968 d penny seemed odd to me, so upon closer examination I found these areas on the obverse that I believe are doubled.

What do you guys think?

The devices on the rim was what they all looked like that year. Slight Machine Doubling on the profile of the face. Just from a normal die that year. The following year they replaced the master hub as the 1968 year showed a hub what was spreading outwards for several year. They nursed it a along for a while, but the die continued to swell.

The following year with the new master hub fixed the issue for a few years until it was replaced again.
