1984-D_lmc, DDO Prospect

Heres a side by side with an 1984-D that was submitted by someone else who was trying to see if he had an RPM. In the top image I drew a box around the other coin to the right of mine and took a screen shot. then used the same box to try to encapsulate mine. The box is kind of faint, but visibly shows how my coin does won't fit within. Also the incused areas look a good deal smaller.

Where am I going wrong? This other 84' looks pretty normal to me.

I was thinking that could be why the MM increased in thickness along with the date when it should have stayed normal, but I wasn't sure.

The images on the right looks like the die that struck that coin was over polished. (this makes the normal devices smaller in size as the fields where the wider part of the design is reduced in size.
