Hi guys, I found this 1984 Philadelphia mint Lincoln Cent with what I call cheerio head it also has obstruction on the back as well and was wondering what you guys think. Do you all think I have something here?

to CCF...yep you got something there,it's called zinc rot... so quick, spend it and forget it. All 83 and newer cent are copper plated over zinc cores, air as gotten under the plating and is now causing the zinc to breakdown..good luck on future finds and keep asking

A split in the plating opens up the zinc to be exposed to oxygen and the zinc starts altering the surface of the coin:

It's a bit difficult to draw a conclusion--the photos are a little washed out and lacking sufficient detail. Having said that, it appears you have a circulated coin with post mint damage ( PMD). Given the photos, it's not immediately clear how rampant zinc rot may be on the coin.

New photos with less light/glare may help.
