I like all the coins posted too - but the gold looks so beautiful. How do you guys quote other posts, I can't seem to do it. We are in the era of the old world empires before WW1 and now seeing beautiful coins from the Austro - Hungarian empire/ Prussian/Russian empires and some nice Balkan coins and that lovely Canadian gold. 1912 is a better year - 6 coins from me. Here is the first A 1912 Halfcrown of the UK - Good Fine and a less common year (4 million) not as scarce as 1911 and 1913, but much less common than 1914 - 1919. For those of you tiring of George V - we have just 2 more years! I can never get sick of his coins - such a period of change and so many handsome coin types. Plus we are at the earlier precious metal, old world order part - contrast this to the mid 30s Depression era no gold, and base silver phase.

For all you Americans - a nice Barber dime for you 1912P - must be close to VF, full Liberty and quite a bit of leave and facial detail.
