Love the Dutch gold!

Here is a Canadian coin I own that does not have a hole in it!

Nice and clean, but alas the coin is only VG condition at best, I got it for less than melt and it shows the usual weak strike on the Obverse.

I do like it though.

I have lots of 1912 US coins but for now here's the best two of the lot.

1912 was the last year for the Liberty or "V" nickel (1913 notwithstanding) and this is one of the semi-key San Francisco minted coins.

Love that Rupia coin !

A 1912 Florin of the UK, this coin is clean, but again very worn (VG or so)

The design of the 4 crowned shields is from 1911, but based heavily on a much older design that goes back to 1662 and was used on most of the Silver and Gold coins between that year and 1787 (There were exceptions such as during the reign of William and Mary). The design was revived in 1887 for the Florins and Double Florins of Victoria, and modified slightly in 1927 for the Kruger Grey Florins.

The Garter medal thing in the middle and maces/orbs/ampulas between the shields were used at times, along with letters, roses and other devices in the 18th century.
(In about 6 months, you will see some of 17th and 18th century coins with these devices).

However in 1936 it was retired for good, unless some NCLT or Proof coin revives it (Queen's Beasts?)

1912 British shilling - this one would win few prizes for condition, but is of sentimental value to me as it's the oldest shilling I ever found in circulation:
