I don't usually post multiple coins per year, but will make an exception to post my 1877 IHC:

My 1877 Indian Head cent. The photos are old, the coin is rough and beat-up, but it's original, and it's mine.

Quite a few coins for 1876, 100 years before I was born. Sadly none of them are particularly nice or rare.

1st Germany

2 x Cupronickel 10 Pfennigs, one in Fine and the other in Good condition - these have the earlier eagle, strangely the Germans kept the reverse from 1873 to 1916.
Minted in Frankfurt and Munich

Also this 20 silver Pfennig, this coin was only issued for a short time (1873 - 77 and 1876 is the only common year) and never caught one. They were very tiny and fiddly I guess. This example is decent, close to VF and darkened. (Remember the 50 Pfennig were quite tiny themselves)
Also minted in Munich.

German coins to 1 Mark were for the whole Reich and had the Hohenzollern eagle, but 2 marks and up had local rulers and also included the Kaiser for Prussian issues.

Some pretty nasty Swedish/Norwegian coins here, but I like that they are real coins that were used by 1870s everyday people!

Holed 10 ore, Folks coinage (Norwegian colonial from Sweden, really worn and I paid 50 cents or thereabouts for it)

5 ore again, a Swedo/Norwegian coin - fairly nice Fine to gFine. These are generous sized coppers about halfway between a Penny and a Halfpenny.

Interesting selection, Princetane!

1876 was the year Alexander Graham Bell made the world's first telephone call. Here are some of that year's British coins:
