Glad the halfcrowns are back, Princetane!

1845 British sixpence - not a great specimen, but I was delighted to get this 92.5% silver coin from a junk tray in a French coin shop for the equivalent of 10 cents!

NumisRob

Oh she is fine, in company with her uncles and Grandad (1836, 34, 1826, 25, 23 and 1816 coins on same page).

Love the Crown and your coins are nicer than mine - the sixpence was an incredible find for 10 cents.

Love the baby dimes and all the early Seated coins and big cents too.

I remember someone showed a lot of old Swedish coins in Marks from the 17th century and someone else had heaps of Dutch, French jetons from like 1600 etc and someone had heaps of Lithuanian and Polish small silver coins.

In order, it was t360 with the large Swedish and French royal coins (also some nice Polish thalers), 1c5d7... with the Dutch jetons telling the story of their struggle for independence, and me with Poland/Lithuania minors, though many of us have some of those (I can now do a run from 1635 to 1507 for every year there was a Polish/Lithuanian royal or city issue).
As they say, "Can't tell the players without a scorecard."
