Definitely no; wait for a few months at least.
Agreed. I would never want that as an option, but needed to see the reaction. Good to have some agreement there.

Strange, when I added a new post with the year marked in red, the original photo in my first post was changed too....

I will post an original photo again tomorrow:)

@grinya, you need to give each picture a unique name. If you give multiple pictures the same filename, then CCF will over-write all the old ones with just the most recent one with that name. With that said, this is very exciting and let's us move back a year! I'm pretty sure that I've got something to post tomorrow for 1490 AD.

And to continue the thread:

Khanate of Crimea - Akce of Mengli I Giray - Qirq-Yer Mint - year 895 (1490)

I'd always swapped this coin a couple of weeks ago, but still have it:)

Nice work @grin!

Here is a Körtling from the German City of Götingen dated 1490 AD. It is attributed as Lev I-250a.

That AH896 has a nice clear date, the 895 is a little tougher, but another nice coin!

I will be in Burgundian Netherlands most of the next two weeks. 1490 Duchy of Brabant, 1 gros Antwerp mint. Levinson II-126.
This coin was issued during the very long regency of Maximilian (Hapsburg) for his son, Philip the Fair (1482-1492). Philip ascended the throne of Brabant when his mother, Mary Duchess of Brabant (late wife of Maximilian) died tragically in a riding accident at the age of just 25.

Outstanding!

Somehow I managed to not post this reply yesterday.

I guess the excitement got the better of me.

I have removed the "We need..." from the title banner we are moving again.
