Im not sure how this would be classified? Is it a strikethru, oft center strike, planchet error because of the yellowing? Or the dreaded PMD

I appreciate it guys, thanks. I'd still put money on it being a mint error because of the edge, rim, whatever is poking through in spots if pressured. But I've definitely been wrong before

In a word: Damaged. It wasn't struck like that. Altered later in circulation.
