hi all I have just joined as I am starting to collect coins. I have been left some from a relative who has said that they are of value. I'm not looking to make fast cash as I know that they could be worth more if held onto. The question I first Have is
Has any one had coins graded with PCSG? If so how much does it cost per coin
Thanks in Advance

It depends on a lot of factors... how many you coins you submit at a time, the options you select, the shipping you choose, special labels...etc. There is also a fee to become a PCGS member. All that said, I don't know what the average cost per coin might be for a typical collector that doesn't submit 100's of coins at a time. I'm sure there are plenty of folks here that can help enlighten you though.

Good luck!

May I suggest first listing the coins you are considering sending in. There are many of us on the forum that could give counsel on if it would be worth it. In my humble opinion, it rarely makes sense to submit any coins you do not intend to sell at some point nor does it make sense to submit coins below a certain value level. Others I am sure will have other opinions but I think you will gain a great amount of information if you list what some of the coins are before you do anything. And in case you are a true newbie.....do not attempt to clean or wipe off any of the coins. You can destroy tremendous value doing that.

If your planning on keeping them, don't bother sending anywhere just for grading. They are your so why bother.
