I have spent the weekend trying to catch up a little I have several batches sitting here that I have not looked at ,this one came out of a ten roll batch that I bought locally from a private party . mostly 40's and 50's but I did get almost a roll of teens ,twenties and thirties out of them quite a few S mints and this one RPM. coppercoins Pillar of the Community United States 7629 Posts	Posted 10/13/2008 10:36 am 1953D-1MM-002...one of the nicest spreads in Lincoln Cent RPMs, this is a very nice example to show a beginner what an RPM can look like. On the down side, they are much more common than a lot of other RPMs, primarily because they have been pulled out of rolls and bags since the 1960s. Same problem as with a lot of other 'obvious' RPMs...many people have spotted them and pulled them out, making them pretty common. Between this die and 1953D-1MM-001, I find at least a half dozen in each 5,000 coin bag I go through. Conversely, I find very few of any other RPM from 1953D in my searches. For this particular die, I would value it at $1.00 in VF, $2.00 in EF, $4.00 in AU, and upwards from $6 in BU. Report this Post to the Staff
