looks like a 0, I have the bottom of the zero arrowed out.
while looking at what I sent found another something. looks like a 2 and something else to the right of it. also I have found the 2008 which is including the 0 you see really good and the 8 ending up under the nose. then there is the 2 that I have arrowed out. Found a radius on the reverse from the U in United down to around the bottom of the building. like I said I need someone with a better set up to get all these pics good.

Definitely something going on with that coin. It is still like trying to identify a Buick while looking through a microscope:-)

Imagine looking at a small part of a fender on a huge car without seeing the entire vehicle. That's what this is like for me:-) I might be able to determine that the car is a Buick by a particular color, or if the portion seen has one distinct characteristic that tells me it's a Buick...but....It would be a lot easier to see a picture of the whole car so I could pin it down as to the make and model:-)

Seeing all these tiny puzzle pieces is interesting but you need to figure out a way to post a picture of the whole coin.

I know that the gadget you have will not allow that but maybe you have a digital camera with a macro. Maybe you have a flatbed scanner and can scan the coin at a high resolution. Maybe you have a friend that can help you with a picture:-)

We are getting on track with what this might be but I can't offer any other ideas without seeing more of the coin in one picture:-)

Thanks,
Bill
