As some of you on CCF may know, I'm a lowly error coin collector. I know nothing of notes and bills. I have had this one for years and just found it again.

What can you tell me about it? Condition? When was it printed? Any value over face?

It was a bank find back in Texas, so I'm not expecting anything from it, but I thought it was neat to have a pre-stock market crash FRN that was also pre-Gold Reserve Act.

Series 1928B $20 FRN Minneapolis DGS note in high VF or so - pretty common note, some premium but not big time.

Unlike coins, the series date does not indicate when the note was printed. The OP's note was printed between January 1929 and February 1932. Total printed for the Minneapolis district was just over 3.2M notes. Condition appears to be in Fine condition with normal wear and few distractions. Like Mr.Frog mentions, it has some premium, just not that much.
