If it was, I would expect that the part below the letter W would be attached to the part between the W and the E. More likely, this is something on the surface of the coin. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/12/2020 4:02 pm If you were able to get a steep side shot, you would probably see that is was not struck into the coin, but is actually on the surface until the heat cooled off and stuck onto the coin. (On the surface, not pressed into the surface) Report this Post to the Staff
