I am hoping someone can help me with this coin. Honestly I am going blind so hobbies like coin hunting are becoming very difficult. Any advice or inputs about coin are greatly appreciated. It is a 1969 penny. The errors that I think I see have only been found on 1969 D penny as far as I know. That is why I am questioning what I see. First thing I noticed was that it looks like "floating roof". The other thing I noticed is the initials "FG" are barely visible especially the "F". I hope the pictures are able to show what I am refering to. Need to know if its something of value or if I should feed the piggy bank. In pics you might have to zoom in or out. Sometimes looks like lines but when you zoom in theres no lines for roof.

I'm very skeptical of the "floating roof" and "no fg" penny. I think it's just some youtube BS to drum up suckers for ebay scam coins (but I'm no expert, so maybe someone more knowledgeable can chime in on whether this is a legit error or not). Both errors are caused by overpolishing of the die, which hardly counts as an error coin, in my opinion. I also searched for these coins when I first started error hunting, but I found dozens with a suspicious level of ease. Any coin that common isn't worth paying above face value for as far as I'm concerned.

@nana, first welcome to CCF. Second, I'm very sorry to hear that your eyes are going--that is a tough circumstance to find yourself in. Your pics of the reverse of this cent are a little fuzzy so it hard for me to know for sure whether or not this is a so-called "floating roof".

Just an over polished die issue. Fairly common that year, but mostly noted more on the Denver coins. But it not a big deal. Just an attempt to remove die clashes/issues.
