This was purchased in an anacs enclosure. This was their opinion.

Nice! ANACS can be conservative (sometimes) on Buffalo nickels.
Rest in Peace

A bit of a soft strike for a Philly type 1, but the surfaces are original and the grade is fair. I read the ANACS MS-64 as an adjusted grade for the strike, because the surfaces alone would appear to warrant MS-65. My only pause is that the photographs are a bit obscured by the slab. Nice coin and a fair price.

I purchased it for the paucity of marks on the coin. In hand the strike doesn't seem weak.
