bpmhunts New Member United States 10 Posts	Posted 01/18/2020 9:56 pm The front of this coin looks a little damaged, but also looks like the clad is missing somewhat. The back of the coin looks like it is almost 100% missing. Or is this just a damaged coin? I'd like to see what the community thinks about this one. Thanks in advance! Report this Post to the Staff

The copper plating has been chemically or environmentally striped away. Your coin is damaged, it is not an error that occurred at the mint, it is post mint damage, simple as that. sirguardian Valued Member United States 354 Posts	Posted 01/19/2020 4:33 pm I agree with Merclover... I sent in a cent recently that was Zinc in color and only weighed 1.9 grams. After a couple of messages I saw what they were seeing. Some chemical ate away the copper. I kept it as a learning tool. Report this Post to the Staff
