Can you help identify this coin.

seems like a netherlands duit but cant find any information as to approx date or region.

@iacd, the coat of arms with four quarters including two of diamonds and two of rampant lions makes me think that you have a coin from the Bishopric of Liege. Compare the design with this mid-18th Century 2 Liards, for example:

Definitely nails down the place.

If your size is about 23 mm, legend on the second photo may make this slightly earlier coin an exact match, with reverse legend reading MAR FRANCHI from 1:00 to 6:00 (though the shields having a slightly pointed base on yours makes me wonder if even this is exactly right).
