This one, I plucked out of a junk bin of nickel dollars at a coin shop in Brockville, ON (yes, CCF's own CoinHunter). I love visiting Paul and his shop, shame that our conversations could not happen over beers...

The dealer, tossed it in there because he didn't think it was a legit error. I paid for the coin, plus a hefty "tip", which made us both happy.

This is probably the largest straight clip I have in my nickel dollar error collection, and only the third one I have found. One has to remember, with large coins and large straight clips, Blakesley Effects are quite subdued.

Subdued Blakesly wouldn't deter me from saying it's a straight clip. The out tapering of the raised rim edges and the out flowing of the letter A do it for me. Nice junk bin find.

Awesome find SPP!
I'm surprised the dealer discarded it as not being a real error, good man on your part for the tip though, I would have done the same.
