New Member From Ohio

Hello All - Stumbled on this forum when I was looking into what was going on with the manufacture of the Dansco albums. Have been collecting on and off for 30 years since I was a kid. I have gotten much for serious in the last 3 years with now having a little more income now that all of my kids are beyond diaper stage. I like all regular issue US coins from Half Cents through Dollars. Usually working on too many series at once. Frankly I am much more of a fan of a nice circulated coin (say G-VF) as opposed to AU+ coins. Not a huge fan of slabbed coins but have acquired a few of the key dates in that fashion as an added bit of authenticity assurance. Right now I have a focus on the Seated dimes and Half Dimes. I acquire through many means including ebay, coin shows, local auctions and coin shops. Had the opportunity to visit the FUN show two weeks ago as I was in Florida for a family vacation, that was quite impressive. Looks like a wealth of information hear and I hope to learn as much as I can. My biggest concern (as is likely with most folks is being astute at Counterfeit Detection.)
