I'm not sure what these marks are, are they mint errors? They are on the check below the eye and at the tip of the nose.

With that photo it just appears to be damage. aka PMD.

pics could be bigger and closer up on the coin. My guess is they are bag marks. Coins getting jostled around inside the bag at the mint and/or bank. The reeded edge of one coin sometimes bangs into another.

Looks like contact marks from the edge of another coin.
