Hello everybody, still a newbie but I study every day, lol.It looks kinda like wood grain, even in color, when you first look at it. Then, at different angles under light, wow. I dont have any filters or effects on either. This is exactly how it looks. What could have made it look like this? Thank you all for your help

Misaligned Die for starters as it cut into IGWT, does this coin have a copper clad layer?

The dark color on your coin is due to environmental damage, the hairy lines, as stated are indicative of the roller lines.

When we say rolling lines, we mean the when the stock material was rolled out flat, these rolling lines show metal movement during that process. When the coin is struck it even leaves these lines:

These rolling lines appear stronger when the original mint finish is gone. Not a premium for the coin on any of the events that happened. (Circulation, die wear and slight MAD is no premium for this coin. Only if the devices fall over the edge. When this does happen, the devices show the devices cut off on the strike and the opposite side of the coin will show weakness because of the miss-alignment of the strike)
