I have had 2 coins for years.
I received one persons opinion already, seeking others.

First coin is a quarter with the front face matte and the back polished as normal.

The second is a nickel that is stamped on the back and the front face is non existent. I'm not exactly sure how to describe it so I took a lot of pictures. It is hollow like an air pocket is inside.

First one is just staining/ environmental damage. Second one is a Magicians coin, not an error. No added value to these coins unfortunately.

@jmurphy, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree with @cp1, with the clarifying remark that this looks like a so-called squirting nickel to me. Here is a link to a prior thread with a similar coin and more info:
