1953 PL Dollar - Swl? - Coin Community Forum

Can't find a reference to any in any TPG population reports or on C&C, although I guess if there are SWL versions of PL coins from 1950 onwards, it could happen to 1953's... I'm assuming shadow from scratches on the slab? And as far as the SWL..they all have it...I've yet to see a 53 PL dollar without it Feel free to call me Will. johnnysprawl Pillar of the Community Canada 1620 Posts	Posted 01/26/2020 01:17 am Absolutely 100% it's a PL. There are no bag marks, scuffs, scratches, etc on the coin. And with a slightly pebbly texture on the Queen's shoulder typical of PL strikes. Anything you see is on the holder not the coin. Thanks Dollarman! Report this Post to the Staff
