Has anyone heard of a short water line variety on a 1953 PL dollar?

Can't find a reference to any in any TPG population reports or on C&C, although I guess if there are SWL versions of PL coins from 1950 onwards, it could happen to 1953's...

Doesn't quite look like a PL coin in my opinion

That is a PCGS mistake . That is NOT a PL coin.
Mint state and definitely not PL66 .
Might make MS63 on a really good day.

...this coin sure looks PL to me.. although I can't tell what's on the cheek? I'm assuming shadow from scratches on the slab?

And as far as the SWL..they all have it...I've yet to see a 53 PL dollar without it
Feel free to call me Will.

Absolutely 100% it's a PL.

There are no bag marks, scuffs, scratches, etc on the coin.
And with a slightly pebbly texture on the Queen's shoulder typical of PL strikes.

Anything you see is on the holder not the coin.

Thanks Dollarman!
