this is supposed to be a shilling I think
but it weighs 10.66 grams
could it be 2 coins mashed together?

Looking at that edge picture, that it's two coins (probably both shillings) mashed (glued?) together.

yup it was 2 coins both 1826 glued together
used a little soap and elbow grease and
voila 2 shillings
