Chance are it is not a doubled ear. On the doubled ear examples, the affected area is raised, not incuse. It is is not raised, then it would not be a doubled ear. Note the following examples. (Click to enlarge the images to see this better:

We often see images posted of ears that have hits on that area, Machine Doubling on this area. So unless it is raised, the it probably not a doubled year.
