Hello everyone,

I found this quarter and I'm wondering, any opinions on what happened to it? What could have caused the damage?

Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you

Yes damaged. The rims were bruised from this coin being loaded edgewise. Now those bruises have largely been flattened out. Or at least that is my guess of the sequence of events.
