I picked up this coin at a flea market for $6 this past weekend, but I have no Idea where it's from. It's heavy and feels like silver and if I drop it on a table, it rings like a silver dollar. I can see it's value is $1, but the reverse is a puzzle.
If anyone has any idea where it might be from or any information on it, I'd appreciate it if you would share.
Thanks

okiepb The vast majority of these coins are Numismatic Forgeries made in China. The chances of finding a genuine example are very low. Your example has all of the general characteristics of one of the copies NOT of a genuine coin. I suggest a specific gravity test which will quickly determine if the coin is silver or not.
