So, I am a coin guy through and through. I came across a listing on ebay where a guy was selling 100 $1 silver certificates. I got them for $137 and thought it was a pretty good deal, considering they sell for about $2 or so a piece on ebay.

ANYWAY, I was going through them found several star notes and found this 1935 bill where the "Series 1935" is all the way to the right on the bottom and also in the top left corner. None of the other 30 or so 1935 silver certificates in the lot have their date in either place. Plus they all have a letter next to the date and this one doesn't. Do I have anything here? I'm very familiar with error coins, but is this an error bill? Also, I know it's not in the best condition, but any value?

Thanks for any education. Dave

I believe this is a normal note for the $1 1935 SC issue. The position of the Series designation on the note changed in subsequent 1935A, B and etc. series.

to the CCF!

LOL Okay. Again, I'm a coin guy and didn't know. All I knew is that it was different than the other 1935's I had. Guess I'm still poor. Thanks.
