Series 1988 A Dollar Bill Error? Please Help!

Rhotaling81 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 01/31/2020 1:19 pm Well it's off center on 1 side and its cut wrong. It's wider than a normal dollar bill and has a weird angle cut in 1 corner and a jagged cut in another corner. Actually I would say it's counterfeit if I thought there was any reason to counterfeit a dollar bill. Report this Post to the Staff

SteveInTampa Pillar of the Community United States 4637 Posts	Posted 01/31/2020 1:32 pm Welcome to CCF. The serial number tells us it's hand cut from a BEP issued sheet. Regular series, circulating notes, only go up to 96000000 before starting again at 00000001. It wasn't cut very well and it's in rough shape. I'm unable to see any premium.
