frank99x New Member Canada 1 Posts	Posted 01/30/2020 07:20 am I purchased this coin about 3 years ago. The seller described it as premium quality. The obverse is prooflike with frosted devices but the reverse has no frosting at all, it almost looks polished. I've seen many MS Morgans and this one looks better than a 64 and the obverse doesn't even look close to PL. Any comments? Report this Post to the Staff

Slider23 Pillar of the Community United States 4469 Posts	Posted 01/30/2020 10:35 am 81 is a tough date to find for a common Morgan in PL or DMPL in 64 or higher. To get the PL designation frosty devices are not necessary, but on a DMPL frosty devices are part of the requirement on both sides. The obverse on your coin may meet the DMPL requirements, but if the reverse only meets PL requirements the coin will get the PL designation. The coin looks like a good example to send to CAC for a sticker because of the minimal marks. Report this Post to the Staff
