I really believe that I have one of the seven brasher that are now worth 10m.Can anyone help me? This maybe one of Robinson 25 copper or brass coins but its real.
The EB on the left wing of the eagle ( as viewed ) is meant to be a stamp of Ephraim Brasher's hallmark. On this item it looks like it was moulded in as part of the initial manufacture and not stamped in afterwards.
I suggest you have a souvenir copy or something similar. Look for a seam around the edge. If present, it proves this is a cast copy. Also look for small letters C or R or COPY. ( R indicates REPLICA ).
Also, I thought the doubloons were gold. I'm not sure what that is. Maybe an American expert from this forum can give you a definitive answer. I am just a UK amateur, so can only really give suggestions.
