Sap Moderator Australia 16826 Posts	Posted 10/16/2008 6:15 pm I'm not at home with my reference books right now, but here's what I can tell from memory: #1 is a 3 kreuzer from the Austro-Hungarian empire; the coat of arms would tell you which part of the empire it was struck for. Given the prominence of the word "Bohemia" and the two-tailed lion mintmark, I would guess Prague mint. #2 is a luigino, struck in the name of numerous Italian states in vast quantities and shipped to the Middle East as a trade coin. #3 is a Dutch lion dollar (leeuwendaalder) issued by the province of Westfriesland; the letters WESTF indicate the province of origin. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
