I have an NGC graded AU58 1889 O Morgan with what I think is a clashed die or VAM, but I can't find anything on it. Here are some photos. Any ideas what I have here?

Looks like an early die state of VAM5A http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.c...889-O_VAM-5A. Which is a die break left of the second S in states.But you might wait for someone else to confirm it.

It is a VAM-5A. Here is a Heritage auction for one attributed by ANACS as VAM-5 which predates the 5A listing.https://coins.ha.com/itm/morgan-dol...1144-20516.s
