I read on ANACS website that they will guarantee grades on coins since the new ownership took over in 2008. I am not sure when the coin I am wondering about was slabbed. Does anyone know how they handle older coins? Also, has anyone done this?

Thanks and here's a pic of the current slab.

That looks like a newer slab. If you look up the SN on the slab, does it tell you when it was slabbed?

You did't show the whole slab. There were four generations of blue label slabs from Feb 2005 through August 2008, This is either the third or fourth variety. The third was early 2005 to September 2007, the fourth was Sept 207 to August 2008. ANACS was sold in late 2007 early 2008 and the new owner continued the blue labels until they change to the yellow ones in August. In general though they will not guarantee the grade on any of the blue label slabs even though they did blue labels for a little over 6 months.
