2009 Lincoln Formative Years Penny On Weird Planchet

I found a 2009 Lincoln formative years penny on the ground in front of the vending machine at wal mart last night. This coin is not in good shape but it appears it has been struck on a different planchet. The coin is thicker than a normal penny but weighs 2.3 grams. The edges are different but smooth like a penny. Please see pics I uploaded. Can someone please help me figure out what I found. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
