Good Afternoon,

I am currently seeking some help. I am "fairly new" to Canadian coin collecting. I do have a good bit of coins that I was hoping to put into capsules. Here is the issue I am running into, here seems to be a very good company for capsules for Candian Coins:https://www.lighthouse.us/coin-capsules.html

The issue is the diameter of the coin, by using this size chart, found here: https://coinstampsupplies.com/produ...anada-coins/

The Canadian half-dollar from 1968 to present day should fit in the 26.5 mm capsule but yet if you look the size up the collecting books and online its diameter is list as 27.13 mm.

So my question is what am I missing? Am I making a mistake or is the chart incorrect?

Are there better capsules out there for Canadian Coins I did try the air-tite brand with the rings only to have the $2 coins fall straight through the ring instead of the "snug" fit it was supposed to have.

Any help is greatly apprecited.

Thanks,

Brett

50 cent pieces in Canada are around 27mm in diameter post 1966, although that tolerance is small its large enough to make a difference.
