Some notgeld issues were definitely 'swindle' issues - they were not what they appeared to be. This great looking example is from Suederbrarup and was issued by the trickster 'Heinrich Appel':   Today, these notgeld pieces are still highly collected. Some of his pieces are signed 'Loppa' - a made up name close to his real name but reversed! 21 - Fakers (includes Swindlers, Speculators and Tricksters etc) |
