So I have a very modest hoard of copper LMCs set aside, and the other day I made a few new additions, some upgraded San Fran cents, when one of my 1970-S cents suddenly popped out to me. I don't know how I didn't notice it before but I'm fairly confident this might just actually be a small date variety. I'll post it along side a definite large date one for you to compare. Still not 100% though because I'm always muddy with this variety.

I'm inclined to say small date, but I'd really like to see a close-up of the date. Looks good, but with reservation.

Based on those pictures and the apparent inner curl of the 9, I am thinking Large Date

The top of 7 seems a bit below the top of 9 and 0.
