2018 Pictured Rocks Quarter Error Question?

I received two rolls of all uncirculated pictured rock quarters. This one coin stood out. It is clearly an error, but I am not sure what type of error it is ( what do you call this?). The curved line going through 2018 is depressed and should not be there. Help me identify this! Thank you. Report this Post to the Staff

Greasy Fingers Pillar of the Community United States 7090 Posts	Posted 02/13/2020 10:06 pm to CCF...we get this question all the time..It's caused by being the end coin of a quarter roll and is damaged by the closing/sealing mechanism.
