srs77 Pillar of the Community United States 3107 Posts	Posted 02/14/2020 5:37 pm I've got knee replacement surgery in two weeks so I'm taking my dad to the MidAmerica coin show in Tinley Park Illinois tomorrow. Should be fun for both of us. I'll be looking for some coins to keep me busy while I'm laid up so hopefully tomorrow's trip will be fruitful. Dad and I haven't gone in a while so we're both pretty excited. Should make for a fun day. Report this Post to the Staff

At the show, see if you can buy a good second hand coin book to keep your mind numismatically stimulated when you are there by yourself, and dad isn't there with you, as you are recovering from surgery. Also, spend lots more time posting here in the CCF, during your recovery. Post a few pics of some coins the you may acquire. Perhaps we may be able to offer grading opinions for those you post. Has difficulty hearing and getting a little forgetful. I cherish every minute with him.. He got me into the hobby so this is great therapy for him and will be wonderful memories for me...
