198? Roosevelt Dime Cladding Error?

Dearborn Moderator United States 98310 Posts	Posted 02/15/2020 10:56 pm Aside from the obviously damaged rim. Could this coin have a cladding error? Please note the area at Roosevelt's nose and eye socket. Those areas are showing copper with no damage to the image Kind like it was stamped that way. But it could be post minting damage. Second, for sure this coin has been damaged after it left the mint—the surface roughness and out of round condition are not mint errors.
