Aside from the obviously damaged rim. Could this coin have a cladding error? Please note the area at Roosevelt's nose and eye socket. Those areas are showing copper with no damage to the image Kind like it was stamped that way. But it could be post minting damage. What do you all think?

Looks like post mint damage I'm unexperienced opinion. Maybe an acid bath? IDK?

@db, first welcome to CCF. Second, for sure this coin has been damaged after it left the mint—the surface roughness and out of round condition are not mint errors.
