Does Anyone Recognize The Portrait On This Worn Out, Overexposed Roman Coin

I am trying to get an identification on a worn out coin that I believe to be an AS. The coin measures 26mm and is in pretty rough shape. If anyone can assist in any way, I would appreciate it. Best to keep this coin sequestered until you know for sure. louisvillekyshop CCF Advertiser United States 1306 Posts	Posted 02/16/2020 11:07 am Working with what you have, that very straight line at the bottom of the bust takes out a lot of others with more flowing clothing. And this guy seems to be looking up which could be important. Do we have an idea on the orientation of the reverse? Thus is that a seated figure facing left with someone in front of them at their feet? Would be nice if I could find the S C to be sure of that. Report this Post to the Staff

Here are some more images that I am in hopes are a little better. As for "Bronze Disease" I think that you might be correct. It is in a collection that is in my I received and is by itself and will stay by itself. It might not even be kept if I already have a better coin of the emperor. Here are some of the reverse. I am beginning to lean to this side being another bust of some sort. Is this possibly a Germanicus/Caligula AS? Report this Post to the Staff
