Many of you have probably heard of Jack Lee, the famous collector of Morgan and Peace dollars. He was one of the most renowned experts on those dollars, probably second only to Van Allen and Mallis of VAM fame. He assembled the finest ever collections(yes, multiple) of Morgan and Peace dollars in business strike and proof. The pedigree from his collection has been highly sought after by Morgan collectors because of the sheer quality and eye appeal(in addition to lofty grades).

Apparently he was working on a collection of Lincoln Cents before he died. They were consigned to Heritage and were graded by PCGS. The results are that Jack Lee had also completed the finest known collection of Lincoln Cents as well Almost 99% of the collection was rated RD and the weighted registry grade for the collection was a ridiculous 68.685
Enjoy those pics.

I can think of few riskier investments than red copper. Who knows what was packaged along with that nice shiny coin?

I remember seeing his Lincoln Cents when he first started it and he told me then that he was working on having the finest set of them then. I looked at his set when he died and said to myself that he was well on his way and if he hadn't died it would have been a set to top all sets for a long time just as his Morgans are
