Medal or coin alignment?

Your coin is not Bombay mint as the diameter is closer to 25mm plus the OP coin does not meet certain requirements...

That leaves Madras or Calcutta....Closer to 26 will be a Calcutta mint...One of the things that was throwing me was the date numbers as the '5' is much higher than the '1' but does have round holes in the 8 and realised this can be attributed to Calcutta as well......Your coin is KM446.2 also there are too many berries to be a Madras mint.....
So I'm seeing a KM 446.2 Calcutta mint, small lettering, type 23 with 12 berries left and 11 berries right...The ribbon has small loops at the top and the ribbon ends finish in a point, the number 1 in the date has a sloping top linked to this is the ornament below the shield which is attached and the wreath ends have 3 leaves...Paul
