Appears to be a Struck Through Spike Head that traveled through the bottom portion of the letter "E" of "WE" to the Rim? Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hmm, I'm not sure about this one. My first thought was damage, but I'm not sure. The way that letter E is affected has me doubting. I'm interested to see what others think.

Based on the profile of the head is visible through this anomaly and it appearing to carry through onto the rim, could it be a planchet flaw.

I feel it might be a struck through rim bur. I'm not seeing any disturbance on the reverse area?

If there was disturbance on that area and was raised, then it would be damage?
