I would think the real value is in the family connection and I'd recommend getting it into a currency sleeve and document the provenance. Some $2 notes have corners missing because back in the day, 2$ notes were considered unlucky and people thought that tearing a corner off would eliminate the bad luck. Report this Post to the Staff
