Hi everyone, I have a 1982 small date Lincoln Penny with an error in the reverse side in between the memorial pillars , I don't really know what type of error it is would like your input.I have been collecting coins for about 1 year. love roll coin hunting

it can be a bit complicated, but there is a tutorial somewhere.

Not an error, just plating bubbles.
Once they break, zinc rot will set in.

How could this happen? If someone took a straight pin and carefully picked certain areas on the coin to make a split in the plating, you could create this easily. Tap on the rim head with a light hammer and split the plating. It would be easy to create these. So not a mint error. But altered coin issue.
