Thank you for the info on lamination errors! I have a similar looking 2001 penny and I assumed it was a lamination as well but based on the information above, I'm wondering if it's something else. #129488;

The last coin is damaged. How can you tell? Note the outside edge of the coin. It is distorted and looks like it had a nail layed across the coin and then hit the a hammer between two 2X2's on a construction site.

Airwalker, although you should have started your own thread, I'll go ahead and comment here... your coin is not a lamination error, but rather post mint damage.

Thank you for your input! I actually started this thread and Coinfrog asked me if I could post pics of my second coin with possible lamination error. Should I have started a new thread? I'm new and not always sure what the protocol is.
