1878 P VAM 187 And A Bit

G'Day all just thought I'd show you an unusual feature with this VAM 187
as you know the VAM 187 has one of the strongest doubled "R" in (E PLU"R"IBUS UNUM) the VAM's also with a broken "r" in In God We T"r"ust
this one has two other features I'd like to share
one is a die gouge in the nostril and the other is a die scratch through the "W" in we

Harry, if this is a slabbed coin, I'd love to see close ups of both Rs. Mine has neither the die flake in the nose or the gouge in W.

I have other photos of the E PLURIBUS UNUM doubling but this R is the best double I've seen regards Harry oh and P.S. this is one of my raw coin in the coin folder on the other thread and no not slabbed 4 of my slabbed coins are VAM's but not slabbed as such.

Thanks Harry, thought I might have misattributed mine, but the letters match. Probably different die stages.

That's why I posted the photo's as I believe that this is exceptionable to this coin alone and isn't in the description of the VAM 187 regards Harry
